With the storm…

Black clouds boiled on the horizon. The wind, which had been a pleasant spring breeze only moments before, ferociously whipped his hair and stung his eyes. As King Treebreaker adjusted his purple wig, he looked at the approaching thunderheads with increasing unease. Is this the storm that the wise ones fortold? He absentmindedly plucked a roach from his ear and ate it. Pink lightning laced the edges of the clouds, and the thunder seemed to sound like it was echoing across his consoiusness. It rattled his pointed teeth, and made his jewelry jingle. The storm moved ever closer. It seemed to even command the ground to tremble. THUD! THUD! THUD!

” Flying scouts, go find out what that there noize is! ” At his command, six white armored, winged “goblins” raced towards the gloom. As they approached the clouds, they were immediately consumed by green flames that shot out of the dark. ”

Whoops!” he said to noone in particular. Just then something monstrous emerged from the storm. (this being quite extraordinary, as King Treebreaker has seen many strange and frightening sights indeed) The monstrosity had the face of a donkey, and the body of a fish, with legs like an elephant’s. Not to mention that it was easily 6000 feet tall! Alook of utter terror crossed the King’s face as he grasped at the ring on his finger.

“Must get help for this one!” Suddenly, the beast was upon him! ” Teleportation, too! Oh, fuck!!!!” As the beast decended and opened it’s gaping maw, a loud “Hee Haw!” escaped it. As the king looked in fear at the ass-headed fish, just one thing kept flasing through his mind. He wished he had listened to Malvidicus the Damned when he said:

“With the storm comes the creature…….”
