Rhakhaan - “Cavalry”

Over the ages, Rhakhaan has taken over much of Jaiman. This is due not only to the effectiveness of the rulers but also of the armies. They are taught offensive fighting styles that utilize a wide range of 1 handed swords. The cavalry of Rhakhaan use short bows from their mounts to great effect.

Ky’taari - “Rin-Jrok”

The Ky’taari almost exclusively use unarmed fighting techniques and have developed some very sophisticted soft martial arts styles. Rin-Jrok (”Hand-whip”) masters are known for their ability to produce rapid flurry of kicks and toss foes around like dolls.

Syrkakar - “Kylag”

The Syrkakar have long been known as great warriors. Short swords are their favored weapons but there is an elite fighting unit - notably among the Ukasur clan - that use warhammers and developed an extensive fighting style.

Norek - “Norinth”

The Norinth are an unusual fighting unit, having trained for many years underground. Outsiders seem to be unable to learn this stye with much success. The Norinth developed this style to be ready for the unknown, thinking that theUnlife itself could be knocking on their gates at any moment. Despite their training underground, their primary weapon is the Pole Arm which they have learned to use in even close quarters with excellent skill. See the Norek sourcebook for more info on the Norinth.

Duranaki - “Kynac”

The kynac is of unusual balance, though the Thavan have trained to thrown them quickly and at great distances. A Thavan will usually throw a kynac and their opponents while closing in and draw another to replace it.

Duranaki - “Dual Kynacs”

The Duranaki of Tanara are exclusively the only users of the Kynacs in Kulthea. The kynacs themselves must be made with very narrow design parameters and the training of their use is of utmost importance to use the weapons to the greatest effect. The kynac and the long kynac can be used together in melee or they can be thrown.
